National Account Manager (Foodservice)

The National Account Manager is responsible for managing all sales activities for the company's brands in the Foodservice and Industrial (ingredient) channels. This will include key account management and management of the company's distributor network.
The company is the leading producer of a premium specialty food product. They are an independently managed subsidiary of a $15 billion International publicly traded company. The company has the advantage of being very entrepreneurial while having the financial backing and ownership of a very large company.
The position will work out of the company's US Headquarters in northern New Jersey. The position reports directly to the company's Managing Director. Travel is expected to be 1-2 trips per month to visit customers, distributors, and attend trade-shows.
Key Account management experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry for a manufacturer of a food or beverage product is required. Experience selling to foodservice or industrial customers is preferred but not required.
