Search underway for a National Account Manager to join our client, a pharmaceutical company. This position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining favorable access for brands with selected payer customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in executing the Managed Care/Managed Markets access strategy to help enable field sales growth
  • Securing favorable product formulary positioning, without restriction, with key accounts
  • Working with Sales and Brand leadership to minimize access barriers and instill reimbursement confidence within the marketplace
  • Contributing to driving payer customer product portfolio access and push through contract initiatives while assisting and guiding the field force on local pull through
  • Providing marketplace surveillance on brand access issues and monitoring competitive landscape
  • Participating in extended Market Access, Sales Leadership and Field team meetings and yearly strategy planning cycle


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required; MBA preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • At least 5 years of progressive reimbursement/payer access experience
  • Experience with Medical Policies and Medical Benefits
  • Must have current and active payer decision maker contacts and relationships
