Blount International, Inc. has an exceptional opportunity for a National Account Manager in our Forestry Lawn & Garden Division. This is a remote position with approximately 50% travel, ideally located in Florida or southern California, near an international airport.

This position has the primary responsibility to sell established and new product lines within our Forestry, Lawn, and Garden division to large commercial users on a direct basis, manage national/regional dealer accounts, and prospect for new customers/channel partners in the United States. This includes conducting all sales functions through the various channels. The job also requires collecting information that will enable the Company to react in a timely manner to competitive actions and market trends. Product examples include cordless lawn and garden equipment, chainsaw chain, lawn mower blades, and a variety of accessory items.


  • Developing and growing sales opportunities via an increase in sales and market share, while maintaining solid profits; achieving sales targets and goals
  • Calling on large commercial users as well as national/regional dealers, and supporting those customers via field and headquarter visits
  • Ensuring that new products are presented to key prospects and the appropriate decision makers.
  • Identifying new products/new program growth opportunities
  • Managing the day-to-day account management responsibilities
  • Presenting marketing & advertising programs for all products


  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis on business, marketing, and business management. A combination of college course work and/or work experience may meet this requirement


  • Five or more years of consultative sales experience calling on large commercial users, national dealers, or field locations, preferably with experience selling tangible goods.
  • Outdoor power equipment sales experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to overcome objections and ensure customers concerns are answered
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter who is able to work well autonomously
  • Interest in and ability to travel within your sales territory; overnight travel is required; travel is expected to be at least 50%
  • Ability to speak Spanish and English is a plus
