The NAA Major Projects team leads the national sales efforts for Otis' North American Major Projects, and HRD. (High Rise Department) This includes such activities as reviewing specifications, estimating, value engineering, preparation of proposals, monthly performance metric reports, working relationships with general contractors, and consultants, developing a systematic way to identify new leads, and close work with the regional sales management team and local branch offices to drive growth in the new equipment business.

This role requires strong analytical skills and to be successful at problem solving and independent decision making. Throughout this role there will be opportunity to interact with various levels of the organization. The position is designed to broaden the candidate's understanding of Otis, its markets, and its customers while developing leadership, project management, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

This unique role affords an opportunity to learn about the organization, the North American Major Project processes, and operations of the company.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelors degreewith 5 to 10 years experience in the elevator industry

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Solid analytical skills required; estimating, traffic studies, etc
  • Intermediate to Advanced PowerPoint experience
  • Excellent team, communication and verbal skills
  • Product strategy skills
  • Must be a proponent of process improvement methods
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and manipulate data in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects & activity simultaneously
