Qualifications:
  • Qualified candidates will have 5 or more years of construction management experience.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in construction.
  • PE license preferred.
  • Progressive experience managing municipal/utility construction projects
  • Ability to create and maintain working relationships with clients
  • Experience identifying and securing client/project opportunities and maintaining clients and repeat work.
  • Beneficial experience includes Field Manager, Civil3D, AutoCAD and other engineering software, construction observation and materials testing.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required. Some travel within the state is expected.

Responsibilities:

Construction engineering duties will include managing construction services contracts, documentation of contractor daily activities, quantity measurement, materials testing, and general inspection for municipal and utility projects. Under the supervision of the ProjectManager, may also assist with design engineering duties. Responsibilities will include preparing reports, plans, and specifications; researching design standards and code requirements and conducting field investigation of design problems. Position may include short-term assignments working on projects located near, and managed out of, other Ayres Associates' offices as part of our work sharing practices.
