  • Manage all retail store locations and corresponding e-commerce opportunities to exceed financial plan; both revenue and gross margin dollars.
  • Oversee the effective operation of the retail department at the unit. Elements to include:
  • Provide and ensuring superior guest service and quality engagement
  • Provide leadership and consistent development/coaching / mentoring of the retail team
  • Staffing/hiring and discipline of full retail team
  • Maintain proper store image standards
  • Execution of marketing plans to drive customer satisfaction and thus revenues
  • Maintain proper shrink controls
  • Daily / weekly / monthly - financialreporting
  • Secure all stock and display merchandise in a manner so as to minimize the risk of theft (internal or external) or damage.
  • Compliance with all DN policies and procedures including, but not limited to, Loss Prevention Best Practices.
  • Through innovation and planning - develop and recommend an ongoing strategic path for each of the retail outlets under his/her leadership
  • Drive local brand selection and exposure
  • Manage all marketing efforts; print/display and video


  • BachelorDegree: Retail / Business management; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Retail Management experiencewith multi-store management in specialty and convenience with warehouse knowledge helpful
  • Product sourcing and procurement experience, a plus
  • Effective interpersonal skills with customers, all levels of staff, peers, clients, vendors
  • Experiencewith "Category Management Principles"
  • Strategic thinking / Strategic approach to business
  • Demonstrated leadership / organizational skills
  • Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office / Retail POS
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule


  • Leadership and detailed direction in all phases of the retail operation; specific to EACH operation
  • Establish specific goals and objectives for the Assistant Managers
  • Conduct monthly one on one meetings with each AM; agree on initiatives, goals, and timelines
  • Consistent coaching and development of people
  • Establish specific tasks to be "owned" by each supervisor
  • Establish targets for each task; revenue, productivity, stock levels etc..
  • Ensure proper staffing of all retail outlets
  • Product sourcing / procurement / stocking / rotating / receiving / warehousing
  • Analysis of data to drive a Category Management thought process to the business

Maintain Proper Store Image Standards:

  • Outstanding guest service within a friendly work environment
  • Excellent quality control and product rotation.
  • Excellent product assortment and stock levels
  • Correct and clear pricing

Operational Accountability:

  • Deliver all financial processing requirements
  • Manage to process of retail invoices ? weekly
  • Controls management - both cost and shrink
  • Establish and manage "par" levels for re-ordering
  • Establish open to buy levels for seasonal / wearable/luxury goods
  • Accurate processing of all PO's / Receivables and Credits within BOH system
  • Drive local brand selection and exposure
  • Establish and maintain seasonal promotional planner for each retail outlet at the unit
  • Consult with DN corporate retail on THS retail initiatives and over-arching retail programs
  • Sell vendor content space, produce in-house display segments, refresh and update content to entice regular passengers
  • Suggest new lines to expand selection and drive margin
