Under the broad administrative direction of the Chief Pharmacy Officer, oversees all pharmacy practice activities regarding procurement, distribution, monitoring and utilization of pharmaceuticals in all patient care settings across three hospitals within the Lutheran Health Network.
Assists in developing and communicating departmental mission, vision and goals. Leads integration and transformation of pharmacy practice across the network. Oversees procurement, distribution, monitoring and utilization of pharmaceuticals in all patient care settings across the hospitals. In cooperation with the medical staff, develops efficient systems and services which ensure optimal therapeutic drug utilization in all patients. Analyzes and controls departmental financial performance and ensures the quality of all departmental services and activities throughout the continuum of care.

Registration/Certification/Licensure: Indiana licensed pharmacist
Experience: Minimum of five years of progressively more responsible clinical and management experience which included leadership experience in an integrated health care system. Experience in the entire continuum of care (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, pharmacy benefit management, etc.) required.
Education: Graduate degree in pharmacy. MSPharm, MBA, or MHA desirable.
