Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists Project Sales Manager in developing distribution strategies for Regional Sales Office including both “direct dealer” and “wholesaler” distribution strategies.  This strategy will be aligned to meet region revenue and profit goals outlined in AOP
  • Network with all types of end-users and influencers, including; property managers, multi-family builder, installers, architects, spec writers, general contractors and integrators.
  • Utilizes existing marketing programs to maximize market-share growth
  • Participate in cross selling strategies with Regional Sales Office to identify commercial distributors who can best serve CRE & multi-family end users
  • Develop and maintains list of current and prospective customers to include top multi-family owners, property managers, and builders with corporate offices in region
  • Represent portfolio at national, regional, and local dealer and builder shows
  • Utilize the CRM (Dynamics) tool for pipeline management & communication of sales activities
  • Maintain a strategic understanding of industry and local market conditions and adapt to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Attend factory training sessions to achieve industry-leading knowledge in both mechanical and electronic security solutions
  • Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years sales or architectural experience in division 8 and/or 28
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation, CRM management and computer skills
  • Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action
  • Ability to travel up to 50% travel

Preferred Requirements:

  • Local understanding of codes and the CSI format of specifications
  • Electronic solution or access control sales experience
  • Multi family channel/industry experience
  • Door hardware /electronic access /security solution industry experience
