OSF HealthCare Illinois Neurological Institute (INI) is seeking a fellowship-trained movement disorders neurologist to join an established practice, with two full-time, dedicated movement disorders neurologists, and one full-time, dedicated advanced practice provider. Position is being created to address the growing population base. This provider will work closely with our OSF HealthCare INI memory and dementia care clinic and perform deep brain stimulation and Botox for the treatment of movement disorders. The newly constructed 3-Tesla intraoperative (iMRI) operating suite, a brainlab, GE and OSF HealthCare INI collaborative effort, provides the most advanced platform for laser ablation treatment for those with movement disorders and epilepsy. Using a collaborative care model, with access to PT/OT, neuropsychology, social work and counseling, care for patients in a dedicated team. This neurology group includes over 50 neurologists, neurosurgeons, and advanced practice providers. Most faculty are fellowship trained. Subspecialties include multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular, neuro-ophthalmology, neuro-rehabilitation, epilepsy, stroke, headache/pain, and sleep. Academic appointment at University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and teaching residents and medical students are parts of this opportunity. Resources are available to support clinical and basic science research, if interested. We can support H1-B visa candidates.
