The MortgageSales Manager leads, coordinates and directs the daily management of MortgageLoan Originators [MLOs]. This leadership position isresponsible for establishing and monitoring goals to achieve production objectives,recruiting top originators, training MLOs, as well as recommending and/or making decisions in personnel-related matters.
Responsibilities: 1. Daily Management of the following metrics: volume, quality, margin, product mix and loan purpose. 2. Work with Regional and/or Area Mortgage Sales Manager to build a new sales team and strengthen existing sales team. 3. Develop and maintain a high degree of visibility in the marketplace, along with developing relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and other business referral sources. 4. Work closely with Regional and/or Area Mortgage Sales Manager to design, strategize and launch sales initiatives. 5. Assist in development of marketing initiatives to enhance origination efforts. 6. Responsible for all performance reviews, coaching and hiring of sales management and sales personnel. 7. Work closely with Loan Operations to meet company goals and objectives ensuring teamwork and superior customer service. 8. Train new mortgage sales team staff on products, procedures and Federal and State Regulations governing the organization. Requirements: 1. High School Diploma or GED; Bachelors Degreepreferred 2. 5 - 7 years of residential mortgage salesexperience. 3. Demonstrated ability to direct the work of mortgage loan originators, including setting and monitoring of goals, implementing policies and procedures. 4. Prior management experience with demonstrated ability to effectively train and develop employees. 5. Knowledge of industry products, policies and procedures, underwriting requirements, conventional and governmental loan requirements, operations, and compliance regulations
