Responsibilities:


Provide systems engineering support for the implementation and execution of architecture and standards, systems engineering integration, evaluation and requirements analysis to assist a customer that advocates and facilitates interoperability, commonality, modernization and integration with Cellular and Wireless networks. The SE will provide analysis and recommendations to the customer organizations partners, system engineers, and management in support of advocacy, facilitation, development and cataloging of current efforts underway in many IC and non-traditional partners. Provide SE services to assess and determine solutions for emerging technologies; and support migration and analysis of technology and research efforts. The SE will define, review, propose and develop process improvements for the SE and categorization of this technology to support Government wide efforts. They will synchronize and coordinate the research, development, and continued improvement of many capabilities to ensure alignment with IC efforts.


Qualifications:


Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  • Extensive experience with systems engineering processes that support planning, scheduling and managing several simultaneous efforts in a wide range of technologies, but with special emphasis on cellular and wireless communications.
  • Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
