We are seeking a sales athlete to grow our Mobility sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in train signaling and experience in winning large, complex deals with train control suppliers and end agency organizations. We’re eager to meet enthusiastic, qualified candidates wanting to join our team and help create the microlocation revolution.
Just as GPS drove huge gains in efficiency and safety, Humatics’ mobility products deliver centimeter or better performance in environments where GPS doesn’t work. Humatics Rail Navigation system --- using simple radio-frequency technology, sensor fusion, and a solutions-oriented approach --- pinpoints trains with centimeter precision accelerating signal modernization, improving revenue service reliability, and reducing system maintenance while enabling a variety of applications built upon a single microlocation foundation.
In this role, you will:
Be a primary player on a lean startup sales team by possessing the ability and willingness to execute all aspects of sales. You’ll experience the entire sales cycle from lead generation to proposal development and negotiation. You’ll carry your own quota, own and develop customer relationships and help fuel the continued growth of Humatics. Proven prior success in a similar role in the rail signaling industry is required.
Grow revenue at an early stage start-up by winning deals that drive market adoption as well as deals that deploy our product at scale. Experience in rail, transit, or mobility markets as well as with public agencies is required.
Drive customer adoption through value selling by discovering customers’ objectives and challenges, and then appropriately crafting sales engagements. You’ll simultaneously maintain and enhance Humatics brand of creating customer value while driving deals based on what the customer perceives our value as, not just what the deal costs. Prior success in value based selling is highly desirable.
Seamlessly collaborate to build the business. You’ll collaborate with Product Management, Delivery, and Management teams to continually improve products, deliver customer value, and grow business. You communicate, collaborate, and execute, even in the presence of ambiguity.
Central to succeeding in this role is (i) landing new customers and expanding existing accounts; (ii) creating opportunity, not just responding to it; (iii) growing our sales reach through the use of sales agents and contract relationships.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in a high paced lean sales environment, has the ability to generate and filter high quality leads, and has created, owned and delivered pitches of highly polished sales decks and marketing materials.
