Full Job Description
About Pryzm

America wastes time and money when the right capabilities don't reach the right missions fast enough. Pryzm is fixing that. We're building the AI operating system for federal procurement and capture -- used by both government and industry -- to unify workflows, market and budget intelligence, human context, and real-time program awareness into one actionable picture. Our team comes from Palantir, Lockheed Martin, and high-tempo startups; we ship secure, reliable software that moves real programs forward.

The Role

At Pryzm, Mission Ops Engineers sit at the intersection of technology, customer success, and mission impact. You'll work directly with customers across the defense, government, and innovation ecosystems to design, implement, and scale solutions built on our platform.

This is a deeply hands-on role - part engineer, part customer advisor. By joining regular customer and Mission Operations/Sales calls, you'll gather technical feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate them into actionable development tickets. Working alongside our product and engineering teams, you'll shape how Pryzm is deployed in the field and ensure our customers get measurable value from day one.

If you thrive on solving open-ended problems, working closely with users, and turning ambitious ideas into deployed systems, this role is for you.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with customers to help them achieve their goals using the Pryzm platform.
  • Lead pilots, onboardings, and trainings; troubleshoot issues; channel product feedback, and support integrations such as SAML and API connectivity.
  • Turn customer feedback into action, quickly shipping code that will have a direct impact on user experience.
  • Act as a liaison between our Mission Ops / Sales team and the Engineering team to prioritize product improvements and resolve issues quickly.
  • You're a jack of all trades, ready to quickly solve any challenge thrown your way.
What We're Looking For
  • Engineer with a desire to work directly with customers, not just behind the scenes. You enjoy both building and delivering.
  • Clear and effective communication style. You can explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and translate business issues into engineering plans.
  • You have hands-on technical expertise in one or more of:
    • Backend/Data: APIs, ETL
    • Frontend: UI/UX
    • Search/Analytics: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, schema design, relevance tuning.
  • A self-starter, ready and able to get things done, and relentless in your pursuit of the mission - nothing will stop you.
  • Intelligent, curious, technically strong, collaborative, and driven.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and a maniacal sense of urgency is your operating principle.
Qualifications
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Boston, MA or New York, NY.
  • US Person.
  • Veterans strongly encouraged to apply.
Benefits

Pryzm offers top-tier benefits for full-time employees, including:
  • Equity opportunity.
  • Platinum Healthcare: comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents, fully covered by Pryzm.
  • Basic Life/AD&D and long-term disability insurance fully covered, with the option to purchase additional life insurance for you and your dependents.
  • Relocation assistance available.
