Millimeter-wave/RFdesign validation engineer will be responsible for the IC characterization and the design of enabling features for our mm-wave front-end products. The mm-wave/RF validation engineer will work closely with the IC designers and perform hands-on experiments to verify mm-wave IC performance. In this multi-disciplinary role, the design validation engineer will also develop user interfaces and control software for evaluation kits and will ensure a smooth customer experience for our state-of-the-art products.
Characterize millimeter-wave ICs in detail to validate all the features and performance specifications.
Develop characterization schemes for mm-wave products and perform mm-wave performance measurements.
Work on measurement automation and strategy.
Determine the evaluation kit parts for mm-wave products and organize the EVK development phases.
Develop user interfaces and control/test software for EVK’s.
2+ years of experience in RF test and measurements and/or RF product development.
Extensive experience with S-parameter, noise figure, linearity & modulation measurements both at the wafer and package level.
Fluency with equipment such as PNA-X (or similar), ecal modules, power sensors, etc.
Solid understanding of communication systems and RFcircuits performance parameters such as noise figure, P1dB, IIP3, gain, matching, etc.
Experience in embedded systems programming and GUI design. Experience in Python is a big plus.
Familiarity with beamforming circuits is preferred.
