Mid-Market - Merchant Solutions

Our client is the Nation's Largest and Premier provider of transaction processing services and payment processing technologies and seeking to hire Account Executives to target Commercial Bankers and other Enterprise Clients. They are the back engine behind some of the world?s largest companies. In this role, you will work with existing partnerships assigned in your territory. In addition to your partnerships, you will also build your clients through networking and self-sourcing leads and referrals.

Mid-Market Account Executive:  Ideal candidate profile must have experience selling mid-market (Tier II, Tier III) and loyalty merchant sales is required.

Responsibilities:

  • New Business development within the Mid-Market merchant channel
  • Collaborate with external and internal partnerships to develop sales strategies
  • Network, prospect and self-source leads/referrals, developing territory
  • Manage clients at various stages of the sales cycle
  • Organize new and existing clients in CRM/ Salesforce.com
  • Present to clients and attend trade shows
  • Report sales funnel each month and ability to hit goal projections
  • Strong Negotiation and closing skills 

Requirements:

  • Degree required
  • Min. 5+ years mid-market to enterprise experience preferably within financial services, merchant sales
  • Previous Enterprise and/or complex sales experience within solution sales
  • Knowledge/Understanding of payments/financial services industry strongly preferred
  • Ability to hunt new business relationships with a market
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and different stages of sales funnel
  • Business acumen, documentation of sales success of overachieving goals
  • Ability to sell to C-Level executives
  • Strong negotiation, prospecting skills, excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to travelrequired

Offering:

  • Base Salary $80,000 - $90,000
  • Year1 @ plan $150,000 - $170,000
  • Unlimited commissions
