ICI Services is looking for a motivated individual who wants to join our team in support of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, DC. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Services, and Technical Services to government clients in 20 states and the District of Columbia. We need a Mid-level LCAC/SSC Electrical Engineer ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Candidate will support the Amphibious Warfare Program Office, PMS 377, Technical Division with engineering and professional support services for US Navy Craft and Connectors with a focus on addressing Electrical Engineering challenges in the Landing Craft, Air Cushioned (LCAC) and Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) programs.
Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use across the LCAC and SSC programs.
Apply subject matter expertise to identify solutions for technical and engineering problems, analyzing various solutions and making recommendations to PMS 377 leadership that meets technical and contractual requirements for the ellectrical and electronics systems related to LCAC and SSC including: 60/400 HZ ElectricalDistribution System, UPS System, Communication System, Navigation System, Landing Craft Interfaces on board Well Deck equipped ships, and other systems as necessary.
Review shipbuilder and vendor submitted electrical and electronics systems documents (CDRLs, drawings, diagrams, calculations, etc.) and prepare draft responses
Assess the progress of on-site production work for both new construction, post-delivery availabilities, and in-service availabilities
Provide production engineering services and construction status assessments
Review proposed Craft Change Documents (CCD) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) to assess technical validity of proposed changes to Craft technical baseline
Review Technical Manuals and other technical documentation for accuracy, utilize Program's IDE based workflow solution to support timely delivery of work products and deliverables
Prepare draft configuration control board packages and correspondence for planned alterations and changes
Develop technical documentation, correspondence, presentations, white papers, etc. as necessary to support Customer requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience in US Navy shipboard Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) systems required
- Working knowledge of LCAC/SSC ElectricalDistribution and Power Systems, Radar Systems, Shipboard Communication and Antenna Systems experience is desired
- BS degree in appropriate field is required
