Job Description

Boeing Supply Chain and Operations is looking for a Mid- Level Facilities Analyst based out of Renton, Washington.

Position Summary
This position will provides General Analyst support to the Fleet Management & Transportation Services Leadership Team

Responsibilities :

  • Deploy management system including development/sustainment of business plan, operating rhythm, LRBP, Risk to plan, change management etc.
  • Provide general analyst support to FMTS 1st line Managers as required
  • Ensure consistent standards, information and communications are deployed throughout the Organization
  • Assist with Project Management, reporting and coordination of several key initiatives
  • Facilitates team relationships to ensure a thorough understanding of the organization's needs and requirements and the continuous improvement of processes
  • Define methodology for data collection from various systems to perform analysis
  • Takes a lead role in collecting data from various systems to perform analysis
  • Create and analyze Site/Region/Enterprise metrics, identify trend data and provide recommendations for deficiencies and opportunities for improvement and to develop resolution plans
  • Supplier transactions, job tracking, supplier & customer communication, reporting metrics, cost verifications, data analysis, job scheduling, supplier engagement & management
  • Receives and responds to internal and external customer requests for services or goods related to buildings, equipment and systems
  • Defines, plans and manages projects
  • Coordinates facilities activities with internal and external customers and suppliers of construction and maintenance services
  • Develops and documents specifications and monitors contractual/procedural commitments.
  • Collects and logs data from various systems to perform analysis on buildings, equipment, systems, processes and procedures to make recommendations and implement improvements
  • Provides technical support, problem resolution, training and troubleshooting assistance for various facilities hardware, software, systems and processes
  • Creates, reviews, improves and documents processes and procedures related to facilities operations
  • Monitors existing contracts to determine compliance as directed
  • Develops contract specifications for supplier goods and services and relevant documents
  • Interacts with suppliers and buyers
  • Facilitates team relationships to ensure a thorough understanding of the organization's needs and requirements and the continuous improvement of contractual processes
  • Generates plans, acquires materials, and schedules services for facilities activities
  • Communicates with internal and external suppliers and customers to provide information regarding adherence to scheduled activities
  • May research open jobs and validate and confirm availability of labor and non-labor resources (e.g., tools, parts) and assets (e.g., machinery, building, equipment) in order to meet customer service requests, government requirements (e.g., environment, safety), and planned maintenance activities
  • Supports efforts to review, create, improve, and document processes and procedures related to facilities operations by creating basic documents
  • May participate in meetings with other organizations such as EHS, ISC, CSI, Legal, Security and Fire, IT) to create and validateprocesses
  • Participates in and supports elements of projects
  • Completes assigned projects. Works to assigned schedule
  • With limited supervision, collects and logs accurate data from various systems
  • Performs analysis using developed tools
  • Assists in making recommendations and implementing improvements
  • Conducts basic research using varied media (such as internet, reports) to support assigned tasks
  • Receives and inputs internal and external customer requests for services or goods related to buildings, equipment, and systems
  • Supports and coordinates the processing of routine requests to meet customer needs
  • With supervision and in a limited role, provides technical support, training, and troubleshooting assistance for various facilities systems or processes
  • Ensures that configuration control is maintained for data, processes, equipment, and documents
  • Supports efforts to resolve business operation problems
  • May assist in the investigation and development of alternatives, impact statements, and recommendations

Qualifications

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Experience communicating with internal and external customers
  • Experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and partnerships across functions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in creating comprehensive project schedules identifying time frames for key project milestones
  • Experience directing and managing more complex project schedules; independently identifies project resource requirements, may collaborate with others on the most complex projects assigned or assist more experienced employees in complex large scale projects.
