Serve as Senior Microsoft Windows Endpoint Engineer travelling up to 25% to support internal clients. Provide Level 4 Windowsengineering support for the Endpoint Engineering Team in an Active Directory environment and maintain corporate Wintel endpoint hardware standards, knowledge base, and SOP or end-user documentation.
Perform evaluation and testing of new desktop and laptop models and design, build, test, deploy, and maintain corporate Windows image in a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environment. Provide senior-level support for SCCM, Active Directory, Group Policies, and software distribution and management on the corporate desktop, provide management and administration of corporate privilege rights management environment (PowerBroker), and perform planning, design, and implementation of corporate Windows hardware models, corporate Windows image, and application upgrades and rollouts. Work closely with other IT engineering and operations teams, as required in support of the enterprise Windows environment, and provide systems and OS support for a large enterprise application portfolio. Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging desktop technologies, capabilities, solutions, and improvements to desktop life cycle, and provide Tier III Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management support, as needed.
-5+ years of experience with information systems
-3+ years of experience with Endpoint computing, Microsoft SCCM administration, and Windows imaging
-Experience with desktop image development and workstation deployment
-Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
-Experience with Endpoint Security technologies and solutions
-Knowledge of basic networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, and wireless, such as Microsoft Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, Windows, such as NetBIOS and WINS, and 802.11 wireless, and 802.1x certificate authentication
-Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently with minimal error and guidance
-Microsoft Certified System Engineer - Windows 10 (MCSE) or equivalent certification
-Experience with automated deployment to networked workstations
-Experience with scripting and automation tools
-Experience with mobile device management and mobile application management in an enterprise environment
-Experience with configuration and change management process and documentation
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent customer service skills
-BA or BS degree in CS, Information Systems, or Engineering
-CompTIA A+ IT Technician Certification
