Overview

Responsibilities

The Consultant will provide principal level consulting support for Microsoft Solutions. This includes post sales, presales, and implementation services for clients. Focus will be on Microsoft Cloud Solutions (O365 and Azure) and Windows 10 Experience is preferred. Will be repsonsible for providing senior level oversight and project management for large scale migrations and core infrastructure deployment. Will contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of CompuCom’s industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise technologies. Additionally, the Senior Consultant will mentor and provide technical leadership to other team members

Experience Requirements

  • Five to eight years of experience in system administration of mission-critical 24/7 redundant Microsoft systems
  • Over two years of experience as Architect Team Lead
  • Three to five years of experience in the following:
  • Microsoft core service migration assessment, design and implementation
  • Consultancy, vendor, or large enterprise
  • Enterprise scale Office 365 planning, design and migration
  • Multi-domain Active Directory securityarchitectures
  • Clustered Exchange 2007-2013 architecture, design/migration and troubleshooting
  • High-availability architecture design (clusters, SAN, failover systems, disaster recovery sites, data replication)
  • Knowledge of security (patch management)
  • Significant experience within a large scale Windows Enterprise
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Active Directory including, setting domain policies, Group Policy, site definition, replication, trusts, and other aspects
  • Strong DNS Services, DHCP Services, WINS, ISA, IIS Server, Cluster Server
  • Experience with server virtualization: Hyper-V, VMware a plus
  • Must have strong Active Directory experience

Education/Certifications

  • Microsoft Cloud Certifications (O365 and Azure)
  • MCITP, MCSE
  • Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience
  • Additional certifications in operating systems, databases and programming languages a plus

  • Legally able to work in the Canada
  • Possess means of transportation
  • Able to travel throughout North America at least 20%
