Position Summary:
SomaLogic is a privately-owned bioinformation company that developed a revolutionary proteomics technology capable of measuring thousands of different human proteins in a single small blood or other type sample. We are a dedicated team of colleagues now moving towards commercializing the health-related information derived from our platform to help people worldwide proactively manage their health. As a part of our commercialization effort, we are seeking additional expertise to join our dedicated team and help us realize that vision.
The ERP Developer will be responsible for development initiatives to deliver business solutions for enhancements to the ERP platform and enable integration to other business applications. In addition to hands-on custom development, this person will also be responsible for working with the ERP team to gather requirements, triage development requests, maintain the development project backlog, and manage external developers. This individual will be expected to function as a Business Analyst, especially as it pertains to technical solutions and ensuring the efficient delivery of new system capabilities.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Participate in the design of and lead the development of solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365FO)
Work with business owner(s) in IT, Finance, Operations, Customer Support, etc. to identify and prioritize development requests
Work as a part of the ERP team to assist in the analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues related to the ERP
Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure appropriate end-to-end architectures and integrations are implemented
Implement and utilize software development best practices
Work with Enterprise Architecture to ensure technical standards are defined and implemented
Work with Regulatory and IT Security groups to ensure compliance and security requirements are implemented and followed
Effectively communicate status to stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Promote culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Preferred majors include Computer Science or other technology-related majors
Dynamics AX certifications (functional or technical) are preferred
SQL Certification preferred
Skills and experience
3+ years of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012/D365 F&O technical design and development experience
Experience developing within C#, X++, T-SQL, .NET, SSRS desired
Experience with other Microsoft products including MS Azure, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI
Experience with architecting, implementing, and troubleshooting integrations
Demonstrable participation in software implementations and development projects
Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple concurrent projects
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
Experience leading and working with one or more developers on the same project including external resources
Experience with Release Management and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) release processes
Experience with supervising and performing code review, merging, promotions, and delivery
Prefer experience in a regulated environment, such as biotechnology, healthcare, or aerospace
Experience with compliance frameworks including HIPAA and PCI preferred
Work Environment:
Work is in typical office environment and involves extended time at a computer and frequent informal meetings and discussions with developers, users, and customers
Preferred work location is onsite in Boulder, Colorado.
