3+ years of experience with performing systems administration in Windows, Linux, or VMware environments, including performing installation and configuration, monitoring system performance and availability, performing upgrades, and troubleshooting
Experience with data gathering, and research and analysis related to deploying and implementing security tools
Experience in providing vulnerability and software lifecycle management
Competence in most phases of system analysis and knowledge of pertinent system software and computer equipment and of the work processes, applicable regulations, workload, and practices of the assigned subject-matter area.
Ability to determine and resolve data processing problems and coordinate the work with program, users, etc.
Ability to orient user personnel on new or changed procedures and conduct special projects such as data element and code standardization throughout a broad system.
Experience in applying established procedures where the nature of the system, feasibility, computer equipment and programming language have already been decided
Experience in researching routine user problems and solve them by modifying the existing system when the solutions follow clear precedents
Knowledgeable on computer and network security policies and industry best practices
Experience with but no limited to the following enterprise software
System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
IBM Endpoint Manager (IEM)
McAfee Endpoint Encryption
Recent experience supporting a large customer base environment.
Experience with incident tracking or ticketing software.
Demonstrated PC maintenance, software and troubleshooting skills.
Professional certifications, such as Security+, Network+, CRISC, etc. are preferred.
3 - 5 years of experience working with computer hardware and software in a business environment.
