BachelorDegree (or equivalent workingexperience) inhealthcare related fieldpreferredAt least 5years in hospital revenue cycleManage all functions of Revenue Management Department and provide guidance to achieve monthly andyearly goals. Areas of RMD include; Charge Master, ChargeAuditors, ChartAuditors, Code-Based Analyst, RA Coordinator, and Pricer Specialist.Assist with process improvement projects identified throughauditing functions utilizingLean training to develop and implement solutions.Manage the planning and implementation of Charge Master build and maintenance. Monitor regulatory changes and make appropriate adjustments in department charging practices to maintain compliance.Monitor revenue to ensure all departments are managing their charges on a daily basis and provide support when needed.Enhance and standardize work-flow processes throughout the revenue cycle that assist in achieving consistency in maintaining the critical success factors in our standard operating procedures.Interact on a regular basis with management from Coding, Patient Access, and Patient Financial Services to ensure efficiency throughout the revenue cycle.Ensure order entry screens and clinical documentation in all charging areas are maintained with current, compliant charges and procedures.Serve as a resource for revenue producing departments and Information Services as systems are implemented and/or updated.Provide support of all charging initiatives by trending issues to department level and working with revenue cycle team on root cause analysis and remedy.Monitor regulatory changes and make appropriate adjustments in the departments charging practices to maintain compliance.Ensure appropriate compliance with Charge Master and revenue capture processes for new clinical services being considered by the facility.Adhere to and abide by HIPPA and the West Georgia Health Compliance Program.Adhere to the West Georgia Health Attendance Policy.Abide by the West Georgia Health Safety Policy.Adhere to the Tobacco-free initiative and promote a Tobacco-free environment.Comply with Annual Health Assessment requirements.Adhere to and abide by the West Georgia Health Standards of Behavior.Complete all mandatoryeducation requirements.Otherduties as assigned.
