About the Position
• Develop and manage key accounts for planned volume and margin, as it pertains to specified territory/accounts. Focuses on NRN/Technomic Top 200-500.
• Responsible for management of information flow (i.e. pricing, contracts) through customer service and distribution to maintain ongoing levels of customer service efficiencies acceptable to the customer and within company guidelines.
• Identify, analyze, and monitor new/emerging accounts with consideration of product mix and potential, while carefully managing resources and expenses against potential returns.
• Organize, manage, and facilitate additional resources including Culinary, R&D, QA, Marketing, Logistics, Operations, and Commodity teams to maximize account goals and objectives.
• Interact with foodservice sales agencies (and distribution partners) to maximize combined sales efforts. Examples include combined sales calls with sales agencies, communication of pricing, develop protocols for account interaction, utilization of agency resources (culinary, test kitchen), broker rep training, etc.
 

Position Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.  Five years minimum of salesexperience in the food service industry.

Must be computer literate.  Strong organizational skills and able to work withdeadline constraints.  Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
