Under the direction and leadership of the Global Mission Excellence & Logistics (GME&L) Product Support Management Manager and with management direction of CAMs, the selected candidate will oversee the utilization of Earned Value Management System processes to collect and analyze cost performance data reports in order to identify cost, schedule, and performance trends and deviations, and recommend corrective action. This individual will participate in cost and schedule reviews to report performance status and collaboratively work with the Program Offices to maintain cost and schedule objectives. The successful candidate will develop managerial level EV reports to provide Product Support leadership visibility to ensure the organization’s cost and schedule objectives are being met or exceeded. In addition, this candidate will manage the Product Support proposal process. In doing so, the candidate will implement streamlined processes to expedite proposal completion through internal Product Support approvals. As a manager, this individual will play a critical role in the career development, diversity, inclusion and engagement of employees. Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for all scope, schedule, and budget contained within control accounts.
  • Perform earned value assessments of project related control accounts
  • Assess project cost and schedule issues and the development of resolutions in order to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction, goals, and objectives
  • Prepare managerial level EV reports/briefings that assess the health of the Product Support organization
  • Develop mechanisms needed to effectively monitor project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program management, Product Support IPT leads, Product Support disciplines, and customers
  • Prioritizing work on a variety of proposals at the same time.
  • Partner with the proposal managers and proposal teams to respond to customers RFPs
  • Review RFPs and derive material, labor and other requirements
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently to gather schedule inputs required to create and maintain schedules
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interface with an organization at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload

Candidate must be comfortable with and be able to collaborate closely with program managers, project managers, systems engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with EVM and/or be a certified CAM, or the ability to achieve CAM certification. Or a Master’s Degree and 4 years of experience.
  • 5 years’ experience with schedule analysis tools; critical path, Monte Carlo, etc.
  • A current Secret Clearance and ability to obtain program access.
