Responsibilities:

  • Development Team Management
    • Manage software development and support teams to develop, support and scale existing applications and infrastructure that face extensive growth in complexity as well as usage volume.
    • Recommend and implement improvements in development and delivery workflows, Agile methodologies, manual and automated quality assurance practices and technologies, and employee training.
    • Hand-on administration of Agile process management technology stack and tools such as Atlassian Jira/Confluence, GitHub, Slack, etc.
  • Delivery Management
    • Contribute in thought leadership to the advancement of Development Support that securely deliver scalable, mission-critical products and services that address business challenges and drive revenues.
    • Establish and proactively drive delivery of project activities, objectives and schedules to ensure successful completion.
    • Manage several projects of varying size concurrently.
    • Ensure availability, scalability, maintainability, reliability and recoverability of CNB platforms, applications, services, and systems. -Experience with DevOps and QA tools and technologies such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Gulp, Chef, Selenium, Jest, XUnit, SoapUI, etc.
    • Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Networking, Development, INFOSEC, and Digital Delivery teams in design, development and implementation of systems and processes to ensure scalable architecture deployable globally with smooth migration into production.
  • Financial Management & Reporting
    • Create and manage portfolio and project budgets in consultation with peers and senior management.
  • Governance & Methodology
    • Define and Maintain transparency by broadly communicating performance, goals and progress.
    • Define and Maintain software development methodologies (SDLC) that drive solutions for successful outcomes.
  • Program & Project Management
    • Drive delivery excellence across CNB digital applications, services, and platforms through planning, design and implementation of strategic & tactical improvement processes.
  • Vendor and Resource Management
    • Manage key vendor relationships to ensure ongoing value. Work with third parties and partners to ensure effective platform solutions are deployed and supported. Responsible for vendor relationships for related or subcontracted services as needed.
    • Evaluates external vendors as potential suppliers. Be responsible for interfacing with partners to utilize fixed and variable staffing models in order to facilitate growing and shrinking the organization based upon project/budgetary demands.
  • Software Code Quality Assurance
    • Ensure required performance, capacity and security for CNB Digital Development applications and platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams to support organizational goals.
  • Grow and foster a culture of innovation, professionalism, quality, and service excellence.
  • Encourage and promote creative thinking and problem solving as well as career development.
  • Create progressive products and services that leverage next generation software architecture with mobile support.
  • Be accountable for, refine and continuously improve the effectiveness of an Agile software development life-cycle process.
  • Stay current on market trends and technological advances to assimilate into innovative product solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures and applicable regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • *Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • *Minimum 15years of combined experience in product / project management, software delivery, and quality assurance leadership role required.
  • *Minimum 5 years of recent Agile-based software delivery management experiencerequired.
  • *Minimum 10 years of experience managing employees and teams required.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must have broad knowledge of software development methodologies and life-cycles, with a focus towards Agile/Scrum process.
  • Must have effective understanding of financial, standard work metrics and management of a large budget.
  • Identify, select and adopt technologies and processes that help with directly addressing business requirements in order to most efficiently develop solutions and services that meet these need.
  • Ensure teams execute in a high quality manner and provide world-class uptime and availability of CNB applications and features.
  • Strong project / program / portfolio management skills.
  • PMP certification a plus. AgileSCRUM Master Certification preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Work well with ambiguity, ability to operate autonomously.
  • Manage resources and remove obstacles to accomplish business goals and solve technical challenges in a timely manner.
  • Establish a governance process that satisfies regulatory, compliance and organizational expectations for private clientfinancialsecurity. Ensure alignment with business stakeholders to strategically prioritize and advance technology efforts and initiatives.
  • Quick starter, with an ability to seamlessly switch between deep technical issues and market-facing / financial issues.
  • Persuasive, professional communication style, capable of communicating complex, technical topics to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
