Technical Sales for the ABB Force Measurement group. The ABB Force Measurement group sells rolling mill sensors and industrial weighing systems to the Metals industry. These products are sold directly to end users or via OEMs and distributors.
Typical duties/responsibilities for sales may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and implement a strategic plan to efficiently and economically manage coverage of clients in the territory (Southeast USA)
Develop and maintain close working relationships with customers responsible for using and purchasing equipment
Achieve and exceed Sales and Margin targets.
Maintain and make new contacts in existing and new accounts.
Present product portfolio
Evaluate client project requirements and applications
Engage sales support staff and coordinate meetings with clients
Interact with relevant parties to negotiate sales and resolve disputes.
Represent Force Measurement Product Group at trade shows and industry events
Manage own expenses
Create Call Reports for management
Prepare Monthly Reports and attend teleconference reviews with management on a monthly basis.
Bachelors' degree and 5 years' experience in industrial sales or technical sales
*A Master's Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.
*A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience.
Bachelors' degree in engineering
Experience working in the Metals industry or more specifically, experience with load cells, thickness gauges, or flatness systems
Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% which will include domestic travel and occasional international travel
