Primary Responsibility

Leads the day-to-day tactical execution of product plans and other key initiatives related to the success of the product category.

  • Leads the collection and consolidation of market research and voice of customer to inform and develop the business and portfolio plans
  • Leads the development of product charters and other documents needed to initiate the product development process
  • Manage minor to intermediate development programs by leading cross-functional project teams
  • Lead annual pricing process and analysis. Work with Product and Marketing Managers to create comprehensive pricing and promotional strategies to drive profitable growth
  • Lead the development of training, sales tools, and other materials needed to support marketing and sales initiatives for the product category
  • Support the Company's participation in trade shows and other special events

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional team members
  • Detail, action, and process oriented to drive projects and initiatives to completion
  • Excel in problem solving, innovation, team participation, and self-motivation
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams; can be managed with little oversight
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 3 - 5 years experience in durable goods product management or related field
  • Some experience in supporting the product management function
