You will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional development team creating advanced digital MEMS microphone products. You will play a critical role in supporting new product introductions and helping to ramp new products to volume production. Support products in manufacturing by driving yield optimizations, cost reductions, and quality improvements. Be a central resource all product issues, and interface with other engineering groups including Design, Process, Test, Marketing, and QA.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with all test subcontractors with respect to Pre-RTP & RTP products
  • Resolve yield excursions and enhance yield on selected products
  • Yield and trend analysis, reporting KPI metrics on weekly/monthly basis
  • Production support throughout product life cycle, including yield & test costs
  • Address manufacturing, cost & yield issues internal and external to Cirrus Logic
  • Ensure products being released to RTP meet minimum requirements and ensure planning data is valid
  • Understanding of production test methodology
  • Release of production & engineering lots on hold
  • Writes of technical reports
  • Dealing & interfacing with customer issues
  • Subcon visits to assembly & test sites as and when required
  • Mentors junior members of the group

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in an IC Product Engineering role
  • Experience with production mixed signal IC testers such as Teradyne A5, Catalyst or UltraFlex would be particularly relevant
  • Able to handle engineering tasks, on an as needed basis, combining experience in Failure Analysis, Test Development, Process Engineering, Statistical analysis and Customer Support
  • Analog/Digital background with experience in sustaining mature products
  • Ability to organize assignments and schedule time to complete work you're doing within established timelines
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others to solve routine problems
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical & diagnostic skills
  • Creative & lateral thinker.
