Job Description

Component Design Engineers are responsible for design, layout, pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of circuits including functionality, timing and reliability. The IP developed in this position will be New Memory Arrays, such as MRAM, RRAM and (e)DRAM. This position also requires working with many organizations in Intel, such as QnR, Testing, Yield Analysis groups.

The candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits:

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Masters (with a minimum of 2 years of experience) or a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with experience in the following areas:
  • Custom VLSI circuit design, Spice simulations, post-layout extraction, Reliability analysis and RTL validation of integrated circuit designs.
