Process Engineering position for a highly motivated individual who can manage a range of technologies on several equipment platforms. The candidate is expected to:
Join a diverse team of process engineers chartered with fab technology transfer, foundry process health monitoring, yield enhancements, issue troubleshooting and resolution.
Have a strong understanding of semiconductor processes and integration with expertise in thin films and metallization. A strong candidate with ion implantation and junction engineering background will also be considered.
Conduct data analysis on parametric and process data with rigorous statistical discipline.
Partner with Advanced Research and Development as well as Business Units on new technology development including process integration with objective of achieving high process capability and manufacturability.
Have a high adherence to quality mindset and ensure the factory line is healthy
Be hands on in device characterization and issue resolution including electrical bench testing, metrology characterization and occasional lab work.
Travel to foundries in Asia or other geographic locations may be occasionally required.
This position is focused on bipolar/CMOS/DMOS analog technology platforms. The ideal candidate will also have a high potential to learn new skillsets and immerse into new technologies including but not limited to optical, chemical or biological sensors.
3+ years in the semiconductor industry, with experience in device fabrication using Thin Films (PVD or PECVD) with metals and copper dual damascene.
Ion implant experience with a solid-state physics background will also be considered.
A Masters’ degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences or related degree is required. PhD is preferred.
Willing and able to adapt to a dynamic team culture and immerse into the role
Have a strong ability to work independently, self-manage job duties and has a strong sense of ownership over projects and deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have some level of experience in device design using Cadence or Mentor Graphics, or Process Integration.
Ability to work in cross functional teams and across different organizations
