Job Description:

Maxim is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to support assigned IC products through the full product life-cycle. Assignment may be in Maxim’s industrial, medical, communications, automotive, or mobility solutions groups.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

    Perform Yield Enhancement on a variety of analog and mixed signal integrated circuits

    Define problems by identifying failure modes, quantity of material affected, percent fallout, etc

    Perform data analysis, problem characterization, and fault isolation to determine the root cause of the problem

    Product reliability qualification testing and analysis

    Package qualification testing and analysis

    Temp/ voltage/ process corner characterization and associated product datasheet limit calculations


Minimum Qualifications     

Minimum Requirements:

    Master’s degree and no more than 3 years of relevant work experience and GPA of 3.5 or above

    Understanding of transistor-level circuit design

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications     

Masters or Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering with knowledge of transistor level analogcircuit design.
