Research, definition, design, simulation, layout verification, characterization, and release to production of automotive integrated circuits. Support product definition teams to develop requirements and specifications.
Author and develop chip architectures that meet required specifications and performance. Create transistor level analogcircuit designs. Define system and block level test plans.
Direct layout team to complete design floorplan and physical layer implementation. Characterize and validatecircuit performance in the lab. Support production test verification and volume production.
Master of Science degree in ElectricalEngineering, or closely related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation.
In lieu of MS+2, Employer will accept a Bachelor of Science degree in ElectricalEngineering, or closely related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation. Foreign equivalents accepted.

In-depth design knowledge of precision analogcircuits such as bandgap references, biases, current mirrors, amplifiers, switched-cap circuits, ADC/DAC, Linear regulators, LDO, power-on reset (POR), oscillators and I/O circuits. Design knowledge of LED drivers with current mode boost DC/DC controller and output voltages that can be larger than 40V.
Well-versed in transistor level and top-level circuit design and simulation using tools such as HSPICE/ HSIM/ CADENCE. Knowledge of current and voltage mode DC-DC converter architectures. Ability to mathematically analyze and model circuits with integral and differential equations.
