Position Purpose: Our Medicare Sales Managers for our Allwell Medicare plans lead top-notch sales teams to achieve sales and enrollment goals by building and maintaining long-term, value-added sales/service-oriented business relationships with insurance sales partners (agents, brokers, consultants, etc.) and through internal captive agents to ensure that Allwell is the choice for Medicare-eligible individuals.
Prospect, appoint and manage relationships to achieve production and profitability objectives for assigned markets
Manage sales activities for assigned markets and ensure Medicare product performance is consistent with the corporation's business and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulatory requirements
Provide functional and technical support regarding Medicare product requirements
Develop and implement plans to identify root causes and actions necessary to resolve identified operational issues
Facilitate development of various reporting tools to monitor operational functions and identify opportunities for improved performance, including development and analysis of reports
Maintain current knowledge of CMS requirements for various sales functions to facilitate identification of requirements for development and assure compliant business operations
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of sales operations or related experience, including project management and business analysis experience within the Medicare field. Strong understanding of Medicare and CMS regulatory requirements. Previous experience managing a sales team preferred. Relationships and knowledge of sales partner community (brokers, agents, etc.) in assigned territory preferred.
