Overview

The NRSL represents Crescendo in partnering with the Medical, Marketing and Sales departments to educate both academic and specific community-based rheumatologists on Crescendo diagnostics along with the concept of Personalized Medicine (PGx).  This is a field based clinical resource for the medical, marketing and sales teams. This role reports into the Medical organization

 

Responsibilities

  • Support Crescendo Clinical trials within the defined territory
  • Manage key opinion / thought leaders (KOL) relationship with Crescendo Bioscience within defined geography
  • KOL Development and ability to influence thought processes is crucial to the role
  • Work closely with medical, marketing and sales to manage the promotional speaker bureau in defined geography
    • Speaker training and preparation
    • Update presentations
    • Customization of promotional slide decks for customers as deemed appropriate
    • Clinical slides requested by speakers and KOLs
    • Development of case studies
  • Clinical presentations (non-CME)
    • Support key accounts and academic institutions
    • Professional societies
    • Industry partners
    • Advisory Boards (Planning and facilitation)
  • Lead peer to peer educational programs to various groups (Community Rheumatologists, Supergroups and Academics)
  • Clinical support for congress meetings
  • Lead internal clinical and sales training (classroom and field-based) for Vectra DA and related RA topics
  • Support the sales efforts with interpretation of test results and fielding medical inquiries
  • Support the medical and marketing teams to develop key educational resources
  • Support for key company initiatives and the ability to complete in a timely manner
  • Field support for investigator sponsored trials
  • Defined Target List, which the MSL will be held accountable for key interactions and strategic focus and plans

Qualifications

·         Minimum advanced degreepreferred in health / science related field (Ph.D, Pharm.D, MSN)

·         Minimum 7 years in the health care selling arena of bio-pharma, molecular and/or blood test diagnostics.

·         Significant rheumatology/immunology experience strongly preferred

·         Experience in successful product launches or participation in the building of a small company

·         Experience in training class and material development, article reviews and teaching complex information

·         Proven ability to manage ever-increasing responsibility and sustain growth

·         Preferredexperience in a role interacting with several internal stakeholders from multiple departments with-in a company (i.e. commercial, marketing, medical, executive level)

·         In-depth product knowledge and knowledge of disease states in current field of expertise

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Significant Mac or PC knowledge with specific knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word (preferred)

·         Valid Driver’s License

·         Ability to travel extensively and during weekends is necessary
