We believe this role is essential to the success of our medical sales operation. As the Medical Sales Support Specialist, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of the sales force, by orchestrating details such as, sampling, coupons, ordering issues, supply issues, delivery issues, demand planning of product samples, and execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will handle and communicate product information and changes to the medical sales force.

  • Collaborating with Procurement, Manufacturing, Retail Sales, and Marketing to resolve product supply and customer service issues for medical field representatives and customers (GPOs, Distributors, IDNs) in a timely manner
  • Taking pride in being the point person for resolving hospital credit issues
  • Communicating any product issues to Medical Sales Representatives and internal partners
  • Demand planning of hospital product samples by doing dynamic forecasts
  • Connecting with customers on an ongoing basis, about product information (label changes, UPC changes, new products, supply issues, etc.) as well as reactive communication in response to questions and customer request
  • Provide business and customer insight to guide SAP Vistex databasereporting requirements
  • Orchestration of storage lockers, mock recall, audits, equipment (computers and iPads, etc.)

Education:

  • BS / BA Required, degree in business management or financepreferred

Experience:

  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in sales operations
  • Experience working with medical and/or nutrition focused sales organizations
  • Proven diplomacy, tact and poise in high pressure situations
  • Experience or knowledge of multi-channel and/or distributor based businesses
  • Thrives on being organized as well as the subtlety and importance of details
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office
  • Polished presentation skills using PowerPoint to present concisely
  • Ability to travel, potentially 10-15%
