The Medical Director, Patient Grievances is the physician responsible for the effective response to patient grievances that are medical staff related including timely response within accreditation and regulatory guidelines.
Formal Education Required:
-Hold , or have the ability to obtain a current, active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Ohio
Experience and Training Required:
-Must currently be on the medical staff in good standing for Summa Health System
-Experience handling patient complaints and grievances preferred.
-Experience with regulatory issues involving hospital medical staffs, Joint Commission accreditation, and peer review program management preferred.
