Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) is looking for a Medical Director to help lead their growing team.
MASH offers specialty services in neurology, surgery, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, nutrition, dermatology, and dentistry and is open 24/7 for emergencies. Our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment includes a Siemens 16-slice CT scanner, a Logic GE S8 ultrasound machine with four different frequency probes, and a full lab including Lacuna diagnostic equipment. MASH is looking to expand and create a culture of strong collaboration and continued innovation.
The Medical Director's primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive veterinary care to our patients, while maintaining a positive, professional, and supportive work environment for the veterinary team. The Medical Director is responsible for upholding the mission, vision, and values of the organization within the hospital. The Medical Director works in close partnership with the hospital director to ensure the hospital's success by acting as a medical subject matter expert, overseeing the entire medical team, and driving operational excellence. A Medical Director must maintain awareness of advances in veterinary medicine and take part in yearly CE in topics related to hospital leadership, management, or training and development.
