About the Job

The Medical Director - Ambulatory is responsible for the clinical and medical oversight as well as the

quality of care across all Ambulatory and Day Treatment Programs within Beth Israel Lahey Health

Behavioral Services. Oversees medical operations, including providing direct patient care, professional

support to medical and clinical staff, and general leadership regarding policies, laws, and regulations.

A qualified candidate must have MD designation and be a Board Certified Psychiatrist. At least 5 years

experience in the Ambulatory or Community setting is preferred. Expertise in risk assessment,

management, and documentation is necessary for success in the position.

Special project: Develops proposal for and leads a special project related to accountable care per the grant agreement terms and conditions between Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers and Lahey Behavioral Health under the Community Mental Health Center Behavioral Health (CMHC BH) Recruitment Fund. Recruitment package for psychiatrist will include up to $50,000 ($25,000 per year) to support student loan repayment to lead this special project related to accountable care.
