Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Media Services Manager is responsible for the design and operation of all audio visual (AV) and media equipment, services and support. Collaborating with contracted partners, the Media Services Manager serves as the primary point of contact in servicing and supporting all media technologies utilized in conference rooms, training rooms, auditoriums and throughout Exact Sciences common areas, as well as content recording, editing, and streaming or other methods of distribution.

As Media Services Manager, your key goal is to maintain the various audio and video systems throughout Exact Sciences’ facilities. You will be in charge of configuring multiple types of devices, troubleshooting performance issues that arise in support of various media projects.

We seek someone who has the ability to make decisions, problem-solve under pressure and work with a high-degree of accuracy and detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary contact responsible for the operation of all AV systems
  • Lead technical design and review for AV systems in new and remodeled facilities
  • Manage asset inventory and lifecycle of all AV equipment
  • Educate users of the proper use of equipment
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand business needs involving multimedia solutions
  • Provide direction on new collaboration and video solutions to solve business problems in innovative ways
  • Ensure user adoption of AV solutions, driving business value from technology investments
  • Perform regular equipment maintenance and minor repairs on AV equipment
  • Deliver service and technical support as needed at events and meetings
  • Ability to work in an office setting, operate telephony devices, and a computer
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Ability to travel between locations as needed
  • Regular and reliable attendance

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or high school degree/general education diploma and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years servicing and supporting AV systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent collaboration and team work
  • Broad understanding of major AV systems in the market place
  • Works independently with little oversight and direction
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
