The Media Sales Account Executive will be focused on driving revenue into global airline media including in-flight entertainment (broadcast), OOH, digital signage, print, experiential, lounges, and more. The ideal candidate will have a proven book of business, be passionate about media sales, self-motivated and will have a solid track record in cold calling, negotiating, closing new business, and account management. Your existing contact list will enable you to close business quickly and meet monthly targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Close business to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets (Yearly revenue goal of $2MM)
  • Full cycle sales experience from prospecting to closing the sale
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of brand prospects
  • Continually cultivate strong relationships with agencies and client direct
  • Update Salesforce in real time and generate weekly revenue forecast reports for upper management review
  • Regular weekly / monthly travel to visit clients/agencies

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • 3+ years' experience in in media sales within broadcast, digital signage and/or out-of-home preferred
  • Understanding of all channels and platforms including broadcast, experiential, video, digital signage and OOH
  • Self-starter with hunter mentality and proven success soliciting and closing self-generated leads
  • Comfortable cold-calling and presenting multiple media opportunities
  • Solid list of contact
  • Superior customer-service and professional communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Experience in presentations and negotiations
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; knowledge of MRI
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred, or an equivalent combination experience
