We are currently seeking a full-time Mechanical Inspector to work on complex facilities projects for our public works clients. Projects will range from $1B Transit projects to HVAC renovation projects.


Required Education, Skills and Experience

Minimum of 5 years of inspectionexperience in HVAC, fire protection and plumbing systems including piping, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers and electronic controls for commercial and industrialfacilities.


Other Requirements

Ability to pass a background check.


Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. The employee may need to move and lift field equipment and tools. The employee may need to use a variety of safety equipment, including harnesses, scaffolding, etc. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
