Brief Posting Description
We are currently sourcing a Mechanical Facility Rep to join our team in Sayre, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be required toundertake and Lead MSW efforts and ensure that all permitted work is identified and that the required permits are completed and closed out asrequired. Permits to be filled out by the permit issuer (CVX FR) and signed by all parties before work can commence.
This position will report directly to the manager.
Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.
Verify IHE (if in use) is in place and has not changed, from all sources of energy (wellhead and pipeline). Follow IHE guidelines and rules at all times including, Hot Work Permitting, Lock boxes, locks etc.
Attend Tail Gate Safety Meeting with crew, Lead, participate and guide crew to IFO and a strong OE culture.
Actively participate in JSA development, review the specific hazards identified and ensure mitigations plans are in place
Review business partner emergency response plans for each location.
Report all incidents, Stop Works and Near Misses to Facility Superintendent as per AMBU incident reporting guidelines.
Conduct daily walks on job site to inspect and ensure adherence to Chevron technical codes and standards, workmanship, cleanliness of site and issues needing addressed with crews.
The above daily responsibilities can change as needed by the Facility Superintendent.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in constructing in oil and gas processing and /or transportation facilities.
Knowledge of upstream operations.
Should have experience in welding procedures and codes.
Experience in NDI/NDT testing procedures.
Excavation and site work.
Rigging and lifting procedures.
Able to demonstrate strong field safety leadership skills.
Strong working knowledge, experience & exposure to safety procedures and practices relevant to automation in the oil & Gas industry.
Knowledge in Managing Safe Work Practices (permit to work, job safety analysis, hazard identification and contractor safety and safe workprocesses).
Written and verbal communication skills required.
Basic computer skills and knowledge in excel and word.
Able to read and understand P&IDs, ISO’s and construction drawings.
Vehicle will be required.
