The position provides support to the Operations Section of Civil Engineering. They assist in meeting the requirements of the Maxwell Base Operation Support (BOS) contract by designing, overseeing, and reviewing projects that affect the operations flight. They assist shops with current and future maintenance issues.

3 Create long range plans that include life cycle cost analysis, maintenance support issues, and meet Air Force goals
4 Perform associated duties to include but not limited to Corrosion Control engineer, Builder SMS data base manager, Oversee field commissioning and testing on new and renovated HVAC systems, Perform annual evaluations of current preventive maintenance program, Chair various committees.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
Vehicle, measuring and testing equipment, radios, phones, and office equipment
Mainly indoor with some outdoor work. All weather conditions
Can include prolong sitting, standing, and walking. Should be able to climb ladders and stairs. Must be able to lift, carry and load materials weighing 20lbs.
Education/Certifications: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited University.
A minimum of 5years’ experience in an Engineering, Maintenance, or construction environment.
