Primary Responsibilities: CTC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support Department of Defense clients across the installation energy, water & wastewater mission assurance portfolios. The candidate will focus on condition assessments and risk-to-mission analyses and processes specifically to identify those systems, subsystems, assets, links and nodes most critical to capabilities required in the accomplishment of an organization's mission. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of energy, water & wastewater mechanical systems, and can utilize risk analysis and assessment tools. To be successful, the candidate should be self-motivated and a quick learner with strong analytical, research and both written and spoken communication skills. Some travel will be required.
The individual will support the analysis of energy, water & wastewater mechanical infrastructure networks and systems. Tasks will include collecting, processing, and managing mission and installation data, model formulation, stakeholder engagement, and coordinating with team members to conduct in-depth analyses. The individual will be responsible for communicating processes and results to various audiences to get stakeholder buy-in, collect data, inform decision makers, and train users. Serve as a senior level mechanical engineer with design and technical competence in reading and evaluating construction documents, including drawings and specifications, for new and renovation projects. Candidate must be familiar with conceptual design models, and plans, to articulate to government client cost saving, innovative, problem mitigation or solutions to mechanical equipment, machinery, and components or their design.
