Are you an experienced product manager looking for a leadership role in optimization, numerical methods, mathematical modeling, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and design optimization product areas?
You will draw on your product management expertise, application knowledge and collaboration skills to expand the use of MATLAB optimization and math products in industry and academia. You will collaborate with product development teams and stakeholders on product direction, planning, launch, and sales enablement.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership and collaboration skills with experience working with cross-functional teams, and global sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
Optimization: Lead product management and marketing efforts for the Optimization and Global Optimization Toolboxes. This includes workflows to setup and solve design optimization and planning problems using gradient-based and gradient-free optimization solvers. Applications include design optimization, parameter estimation, motion planning energy management as well financial portfolio optimization and optimization for planning
MATLAB Math: Lead product management and marketing efforts for the math foundational libraries, ode/pde olvers, graph and network algorithms, and numerical solvers in MATLAB. This includes applications and workflows in industry and academia.
Other math products: Collaborate on the product direction, workflows, applications, and incubation areas for product areas involving MATLAB Math and optimization. This includes the Symbolic Math Toolbox for engineering design and documentation and in teaching calculus and physics; the Partial Differential Equation Toolbox for Finite Element Analysis fo turtural and thermal applications and its use with other MathWorks products for modeling and simulation. New incubation areas include Quantum Computing with MATLAB.
Product Management: Work with development teams and other stakeholders to develop and deliver on product plans. This includes market problem and requirements synthesis, competitive assessment, win/loss analysis, product roadmaps, and growth opportunity incubation.
Positioning: Lead the developing of buyer personas, positioning, and differentiated messages.
Content Development: Lead the planning and creation of content, ensuring consistent and reinforcing messages to drive awareness and adoption across multiple inbound marketing channels and global locations. This includes web pages, offers, videos, technical papers, conference talks, and event content.
