Outstanding clinical opportunity for board eligible/board certified maternal fetal medicine physician to join a growing perinatal subspecialty practice. Join three other board certified maternal-fetal subspecialists committed to providing high quality, compassionate, evidence-based, and cost-sensitive perinatal care to families of the Illinois North Central Perinatal Region. We emphasize communication, collaboration, education, and consultation. We are supported by two APNs, ARDMS certified sonographers working in an AIUM certified unit, two diabetes educators, and a perinatal nutritionist. Genetic counselors and a Pediatric Geneticist from the University of Illinois College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics are available for consultation. OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is currently transitioning to a laborist model with plans for the laborist to cover the deliveries of the MFM patient population. The North Central Perinatal Network is composed of 28 hospitals and 25 local county health departments in Central Illinois. Call is 1:4. This position includes a competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
