Salary Range: $80k - $95k Permanent Position with Benefits.

Cleveland, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire a Materials & Processes (Methods) Engineer - Metallurgist who is familiar with, metal heat treatment, shot peening, and has an overall understanding of metals manufacturing processes.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor of Science in Materials Science / Metallurgy
  • 4 + years' experience as a Materials & Processes (Methods) Engineer - Metallurgist
  • Identifies and reports on metallurgical or processing issues
  • Prepare and aggregate reports containing highly technical data
  • Engage in predictive computer modelling for metallurgical engineering
  • Analyze, design, and test components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements
  • Expertise in high strength steel, aluminum and titanium alloys, heat treating, plating, peening, forging, casting, and NDT processes

 

Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
