This position is responsible to manage all aspects of material flow and to maintain control and accuracy over all goods inventories, including all transactions, procurement, planning, scheduling, cost, warehouse, receiving, and shipping to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time.

This position is also responsible to develop and manage all supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Materials Planning
  • Manage Stockroom & Shipping and Receiving Dept
  •  Management of a small team
  • Management of material control including all day to day direction, interface with other departments, training, physical routing and all pertinent managerial responsibilities

o  Inventory

o  Shipping and Receiving

o  Purchasing

o  Subcontracting

o  Material flow through the facility

Job Requirements and Qualifications

 

Education: (or equivalent years experience). Bachelor's degree or 7years relevant experience

 

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): APICS CPIM, PMI a plus

        

Experience: 7Years’ experience in materials planning in a manufacturing environment

Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a

      manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
