Havasu Regional Medical Center


The Market Materials Management Director provides support services to all departments within the market facilities. Must demonstrate the strategic ability to work at all levels of the organization. Provides leadership by working cooperatively and effectively with staff and other administrative and support personnel in maintaining the standards of professional behavior. Must be able to recognize talent that will add value to the facilities. Must have the ability to teach and counsel others. Oversees centralized procurement of all supplies, equipment, and services. Monitors the cost of supplies purchased, ensuring procurement is within established contract guidelines. Conducts periodic inventory of supplies for accountability. Maintains a record of capital equipment and affixes identifying property label. Assures compliance when possible with the corporate contract purchasing program. Coordinates purchase orders, prices, product returns, and invoice charges with Accounts Payable. Coordinates product and medical devise recalls and safety alerts with appropriate departments and committees.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree required

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Must have a valid drivers license
