VISION: High performance manufacturing setting. Have responsibility for all material management and production planning. Lead a team of 6-7 in a medium to high volume center of manufacturing excellence. Upside potential in multiple directions.
OPPORTUNITY: Lead an established team within a company known for product ingenuity, best practices, and empowering leadership. Manage flow of materials from purchasing and receiving of raw materials through production planning and scheduling. This will include partnering on new product development and lean manufacturing events to improve productivity, cost containment, quality assurance, and inventory management. Drive lean transformation throughout the supply chain and continuous improvement in all aspects of the procurement process. Manage relationships with key vendors; prepare forecasts and budget for materials; and track/analyze metrics.
REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS degree strongly desired; CPIM a plus. Seek 5+ years of materials planning, materials management, supply chain, and inventoryexperience within a medium to high volume setting. Experience with Kaizen, 5S, or Kanban is a plus. Must be comfortable and experienced with Excel and VISUAL modules that support supply chain processes.
REWARD: $95,000 to $110,000, plus bonus and excellent benefits.
